Watch out for low-low-prices

Watch out for low-low-prices

With the Internet, you can pay almost any price for almost any item.

If you shop around, you'll probably find some prices that are lower than ours. You may find some prices that are ridiculously lower than ours.

How does it happen? There are several ways.

  1. Some equipment may be stolen. If a seller's cost is zero, whatever he collects is profit. Stolen property has no warranty from Panasonic, and no support.
  2. Some equipment is "gray market," and not intended for use in the United States. It may not meet FCC regulations, and has no warranty from Panasonic in the U.S.
  3. Some unauthorized dealers sell the KX-TDA30. It's derived from the KX-TDA50, but is NOT intended for use in the USA, and will not get warranty service from Panasonic in the USA.
  4. Some equipment may be older and discontinued, and does not offer the latest features and may not be compatible with current products.
  5. Some equipment may be used, and has no warranty from Panasonic, and may not be the latest version.
  6. The seller may not be an authorized Panasonic dealer. The dealer's technicians have NOT been trained by Panasonic. The dealer CAN'T get tech support from Panasonic to help you, and CAN'T get "legal" manuals and software for you, and the equipment may have NO warranty from Panasonic.
  7. Panasonic KX-TDA and KX-TDE systems are sophisticated and complex products. They are not "plug-and-play" like consumer phones. And even if you've installed other phone systems before, you will still need a qualified, experienced dealer to support you.
  8. You may think you are saving money if you buy from an unauthorized dealer but the problems you face are probably not worth the difference in price.

The Panasonic dealer contract does not permit most KX-TDA, KX-TDE and KX-NCP products to be sold online. If you see prices on a website (except for cordless phones), the dealer is not authorized by Panasonic, and purchased products will NOT get the support you need! Buying a modern phone system is not like buying a box of pencils or spaghetti. Support from the dealer is critical. Panasonic does NOT provide user support for phone systems. You MUST get support from a trained and authorized dealer. AbleComm has been in business for over 30 yeaqrs and became the largest Panasonic dealer in  the world, by providing excellent support and value to thousands of customers. We are proud to be the first dealer that Panasonic authorized to sell the new KX-TDA, KX-TDE and KX-NCP systems for do-it-yourself installation.

One unauthorized dealer says it "is not, in any way, affiliated, or contractually obligated to most of the phone system manufacturers listed on this site." That means that the company is NOT authorized to sell Panasonic products, has not been trained to support its customers, can not provide manuals or software, and may be selling improper products with no warranty.

Thousands of years ago, the ancient Romans said "Caveat Emptor." That means "Let the buyer beware." It's good advice in the 21st century, and it's a particularly important cautionon with online commerce.

If you buy from AbleComm, you can be sure that you are buying from a company that is equipped to provide the support you need, will provide manuals and software, and the latest products, and will charge you a fair price.

Here's a comment from one of our phone system customers: "I am so pleased with the service and support I’ve received from your company. Your staff knows the product inside and out, and is courteous and patient. A colleague recommended you, and said “they’re not the cheapest, but they’re the best!”. How true -- you ARE the best! Sometimes we become too focused on the initial (perceived) cost of products. We sometimes view everything as a commodity, where its value is judged solely by its purchase cost. This is a mistake. Companies like yours prove that the real bottom-line includes much more than the purchase price. Thanks for providing great products, and having such superior support -- you are our source for ALL phone and telecom needs!" Tim
