Programming and Operation (with MultiTech equipment)

MVP210 Location A

You need to configure the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.

1. Go to configuration, interface and set the interface for FXS.

2. Go to configuration, voice/fax and set the voice coder to Net Coder @ 9.6K for all channels. 

3. Inbound Phone Book, you need “remove prefix” 101 through 102 with channel numbers 1 through 2.

4. Outbound Phone Book, you need “destination pattern” 201 and 202, “total digits” 3, and  IP address of the remote MVP210.

MVP210 Location B
 

You need to configure the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.

1. Go to configuration, interface and set the interface for FXO.

2. Go to configuration, voice/fax and set the voice coder to Net Coder @ 9.6K for all channels. 

3. Inbound Phone Book, you need “remove prefix” 201 through 202 with channel numbers 1 through 2.

4. Outbound Phone Book, you need “destination pattern” 101 and 102, “total digits” 3, and  IP address of the remote MVP210.

Dialing procedure from one location to another:

1. Pick up the phone in location A, get local dial tone, dial 201, get remote dial tone from remote PBX, dial the extension number of location B, and the distant phone rings.

2. From B to A, dial the local extension of the FXO port, get local dial tone, dial 101, get auto attendant from A, and dial the extension number of the distant phone.

3. If AUTO CALL is enabled, you won’t have to dial 201
