Minuteman Pro™ uninterruptible power supplies provides ideal power protection for telephone systems and voice mail.

To better protect your equipment in all conditions, the Pro Series has the widest range of voltage regulation of any UPS in its class. This feature allows it to protect against the most common problem, brownouts, without using the battery. The units also include audible alarms, an alarm silencer, self-test button, advanced battery monitoring, hot-swappable batteries, site wiring fault indicator, and much more.

To add even more functionality to the Pro Series, each unit includes a copy of Minuteman Sentry II™ power management and diagnostic software. The package includes a CD with Minuteman Sentry II™ software versions for most major operating systems including multiple Windows, Linux, and UNIX variants with a communications cable.

Sentry II provides many helpful power management capabilities including warning and diagnostic tools, flexible event management, on-line help, scheduled shutdown and testing, remote management, and input load monitoring.

Power monitoring and shutdown software is a recent technological advancement in the UPS marketplace. Our Minuteman UPSs incorporate a communications port for either shutdown, monitoring, or both.

Power monitoring and shutdown software was developed out of the need for more sophisticated capabilities from a UPS. Phone systems are critical resources for businesses, and the people managing them must have control over every aspect of these systems.

Minuteman's Sentry bi-directional intelligent communications software provides comprehensive information about power conditions in the form of statistical data and a graphical display. The graphical display shows current conditions including available battery voltage, UPS load, charge status, UPS temperature, and battery age. A running line graph displays input voltage and UPS load for the past 10 minutes of monitoring. Warning messages are broadcast in cases of power outages, low battery warning during a blackout, momentary disruption, log-in failure, and power restored.

Sentry software adds security and reliability to phone systems by performing an unattended shutdown in case there is an extended power outage. The software also includes a comprehensive testing facility, a battery replacement warning, and allows the data generated by the software to be written to a file for future reference.
