AbleComm has door intercom speakers that allow you to talk to visitors to your home or business from any phone -- even if your phone system is not designed to have a door intercom, or even if you've used up all your door intercom circuits, or even if you don't have a phone system!

• When someone presses the CALL button, your phones will ring. Just answer a ringing phone and talk. You can even connect your phones to an "electric door strike" for remote door unlocking, or to a remote gate opener.

With a four-line phone system like the Panasonic KX-TG4000, you can have three phone lines plus the door intercom. We also have an adapter module (below) that allows you to have a door intercom without sacrificing phone line capacity.  

Surface and flush-mount speakers are available. Each one requires two pairs of wire -- one for power from the supplied transformer, and the other connects to a phone line circuit. With 24-gage wire, the speaker can be up to 6300 feet from the phone, and 150 feet from the transformer. You can adjust the microphone sensitivity to compensate for background noise, and set the number of rings before it "times out."
