PanaPatch-12 (or -8) panel for digital phone systems.

1. The first jack in each group of three includes all three pairs: analog ("XDP"), digital, plus the third pair that was used for off-hook call announcement on several discontinued phones. This jack is also used for analog proprietary corded and cordless phones.
2. The second jack in each group of three has just the analog pair. It's all you need for a single-line phone, modem, answerer, credit-card terminal, satellite box, etc.
3. The third jack in each group has just the digital pair. It's all you need for a digital phone without the eXtra Device Port, or for two ports in a KX-TVS voice processor.
4. If you have a KX-TA1232 or KX-T123211D system, the PanaPatch-12 makes it easy to use the "shared port" feature, where a multi-line proprietary phone and a single-line analog device, such as a modem or an answerer, share a port. You can also use the first two jacks in each group of three, to allow two single-line devices, such as satellite TV boxes, to share a port. The third jack in each group in the panel is not used with a KX-TA1232.
