It comes equipped for 3 lines, 8 multi-line digital phones, PLUS 4 single-line analog phones or accessories. An additional 4 analog phones or accessories can be connected with the KX-TD30870 expansion module.

The KX-TD30891 multi-function module adds three important features: fax detection, Caller ID, and Automated Attendant ("press 2 for Charlie.")

The KX-TD308 can be used with one KX-T30865 door intercom speaker. Circuitry for the door speaker, and remote door unlocking, is built into the KX-TD308.

Connections for the phone lines are on one 3-line RJ25 jack. Connections for the phone and door speaker are on a 25-pair Amphenol-type connector.

It is the only Panasonic digital phone system that can provide Caller ID to a standard phone or display without installing a special circuit module.
