 The Panasonic KX-TD160 provides remote unlocking and answering at one or two doors or gates. Unlocking requires separate power supply and lock mechanism ("door strike"). Intercom requires KX-T30865 door speaker. It's a small circuit "pod" that fits on the front panel of the KX-TD816 or 1232, inside the front door. Screw terminals are provided for unlocking, and there's a 4-conductor modular jack for the speakers.

  • For KX-TD816 and KX-TD1232, through "dash four" versions only. Order KX-TD161 for later versions.
