AbleComm has promoted and supported do-it-yourself installation of Panasonic phone systems since 1991, but Panasonic didn't offer "end-user" software until 2004.
The Panasonic KX-A281 Phone System Manager is the first software that Panasonic has offered for the KX-TD816 and KX-TD1232 phone systems, that is available to the public. It's much easier to use than Panasonic's "ugly old DOS" program, and provides important additional features at a reasonable price.
It has a well-designed Windows graphical user interface. Convenient point-and-click operation lets you use a PC to easily manage your KX-TD system. It's an excellent tool for day-to-day system management, that can save substantial time and money. Phone System Manager is important for business use, and nice to have for home use.
At the click of a mouse, you can instantly make changes in the following areas:
Extensions: Assign a user's name and extension number to each system telephone.
Speed Dials: Assign one-touch buttons to the most frequently dialed numbers
Flexible Keys: Point and click to assign the most-often-used features to each phone's flexible buttons. This programming can then be copied to other phones, or each phone can be customized according to the individual user's needs.
Ringing: Program individual phones to ring a specific number of times before sending the call to voice mail or to another phone. Other options include "delayed ring" or "no ring."
►DOZENS OF OTHER PROGRAMMING FUNCTIONS are available, under password control. You can handle voicemail, phantom extensions, DID, toll restriction, Class of Service, do backup and restore, and MUCH MORE. Programming that used to take an eternity with a phone's touchtone pad, can be done in seconds with a PC!◄
In addition to programming and backup/restore, the KX-A281 Phone System Manager also includes other functions:
Everyone strives to get the most out of technology in a cost-effective manner. Phone System Manager puts control of telephone system features and costs in YOUR hands.
| PC requirements: Windows 2000 or later, Pentium III 450MHz or equivalent or better, 128MByte RAM, 4GByte HD space, serial connector. |

►PLEASE
BE VERY CAREFUL. We're
wasting a lot of time because people are sending us inaccurate
information. Check it twice. ►Starting 16 Nov 2004, there will be a $25 service charge if you send us inaccurate information and we have to spend extra time making corrections so we can register your software. We're NOT kidding. |
||||||||
|
►When you start filling in the
online form, fill in the TOP FIRST, where you indicate the system type. (It
affects the registration number that is generated.) ►The software is registered for ONE phone system and ONE computer. Please resist the urge to experiment. It is a major PITA to re-register if you switch PCs. ►When you type in the registration key we give you, type it as one long number, without hyphens or spaces. |
