NEW KX-TD7896 MULTI-LINE 2.4GHz FREQUENCY-HOPPING
DIGITAL-SPREAD-SPECTRUM CORDLESS PHONE HAS SPEAKERPHONE & HANDS-FREE INTERCOM.
This is the fifth-generation three-piece Panasonic phone, and the first to use the 2.4Gig frequency. It is set to replace the KX-TD7895.
Although it replaces the 7895, it has more in common with the KX-TD7680. It will work with Panasonic KX-T, KX-TA, KX-TAW, KX-TD and KX-TDA phone systems, with the included base antenna.
Frequency-hopping digital-spread-spectrum radio transmission provides quiet operation and extreme security against eavesdropping.

- DISTANCE TEST RESULTS: In a typical suburban environment, we had perfect communications to about 500 feet from the base, and usable communications (some ticking noise) to about 550 feet. The transmitting base was located on the second floor of a wood-frame house, and the signal passed through one exterior wall with vinyl siding, about 30 feet from the base. Indoors, we were able to go two floors down, and about 60 feet horizontally. Weather conditions: sunny, 45 degrees F., 50% humidity, 10 MPH wind.
