The housing is made of high-strength extruded aluminum, and finished in your choice of natural silver or anodized light bronze color.

It's designed for surface mounting on a wall, or over a single-gang junction box. You don't need to spend any more money on mounting hardware. Dimensions: 6-3/16"H x 3-3/4"W x 1-3/4"D.

Construction is secure, and absolutely first-class. The speaker has a Mylar diaphragm to withstand moisture; and the inside back of the housing has a dense "self-healing" nylon-reinforced polyurethane foam shield to prevent rain from entering from the screw holes and wire access opening. The vandal-resistant pushbutton is nearly flush with the front panel. The top extends about a half inch beyond the front panel, like a hat brim, shielding the front from rain and snow.

This intercom is compatible with all Panasonic KX-T, KX-TA, KX-TD, KX-TAW, KX-TDA, VA and VB phone systems. One wire pair connects to a screw-down terminal strip on the internal printed circuit board. A second pair of wires can be connected to a battery or suitable power supply (approx. 5 VDC).
