When there was trouble in Gotham City on the campy 1960s "Batman" TV show, Police Commissioner James Gordon and Police Chief Miles O'Hara used a red hotline phone to call Batman, who was really the civic-minded billionaire Bruce Wayne.
A flashing and beeping BatPhone was answered
quickly at Wayne Manor. Then Wayne and his young ward Dick Grayson ( "Robin,")
slid down the Batpoles into the secret Batcave. There they put on their Superhero suits
and then the "Dynamic Duo" got into their Batmobile to rescue citizens in
distress or battle villains such as the Joker, the Penguin,
Catwoman or the Riddler.
Now anyone can have a flashing red phone just like a Superhero. Our BatPhone is not a toy. It's an "office-quality" telephone, made in the USA, and guaranteed for two years. BatPhone shipping is FREE to all 50 states.
You can also get a clear dome to protect your Batphone, like on Police Commissioner Gordon's desk.
Some photos are from the ABC "Batman" TV series, produced by William Dozier for 20th Century Fox. We thank them.
IMPORTANT: We test these phones on a standard AT&T analog phone line, on Cablevision VoIP phone service, on an industry-standard telephone tester, and on a Panasonic KX-TD816 hybrid phone system, and they work fine. However, we have had a few reports from people that the lights don't flash. In every case, when the phones have been returned to us, they worked properly. If your phone does not flash, it is properly due to "low ring voltage." This may be caused by a phone company problem, or you may have too many phones connected. The phones are designed for and tested to work in a range of "normal" environments, but we can't guarantee that they will work everywhere. If your light doesn't flash, please call us before returning the phone and we will try to help you. You may need the Phone Line Power Booster shown below.
